Please join us on Sunday September 8, 2024 for the Glen Iris 5K & 10K Trail Run/Walk. This event will take place entirely inside Letchworth State Park that features breathtaking views Genesee River Gorge known as the Grand Canyon of the East!

In 2016 the park was voted as the #1 New York State Park and in 2017 it was voted the #1 attraction in New York State! Participants are encouraged to visit the official park website learn about all the great things happening at Letchworth.

START/FINISH
START TIME 9AM: Both the 5K Trail Run and 10K Trail Run will take place entirely on park woodland trails and will both start and finish near the Trout Pond. Runners will enjoy CHALLENGING trails that feature breathtaking views of the woodland forest, wildlife, creeks & streams, bridges, and more. After last year's race it was decided that this run is so tough that EVERYONE deserves an fully custom keepsake finisher medal. I'm excited to announce that we have already placed the order and these beautiful keepsake medals will be presented to all runners at the finish line on race day! REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
Online registration will remain open until Friday 9/6/24 at 4pm. Paper registration only on race day because of poor internet connection inside the park. Packet pickup will take place at the Trailside Lodge located next to the Humphrey Nature Center from 7:30 am right up until the start of the races at 9:00 am. Register by August 30th to guarantee your requested shirt/size on race day. A small quantity of extra shirts will be ordered and distributed on a first-come, first -serve basis until they are gone.

NEW! Virtual Registration Option
We are also offering a virtual registration option for those of you who do not wish to run with us on race day. For the virtual option you choose when and where to run your 5K and then enter your results online any time during the month of September. We will automatically mail your race swag out after the race. (Continental USA Only)

Mail-in Registration Option
If you prefer to mail in your registration, please download both the race waiver and appropriate USATF liability waiver below and mail to the address shown. You must complete and mail BOTH waivers to the address shown on the waiver along with your check payable to iRunWNY.

POST RACE CELEBRATION The post race celebration will take place at Trailside Lodge. Letchworth State Park will be open for visitors throughout the weekend. Runners will be provided with food and snacks compliments of the Glen Iris Inn along with bottled water at the finish line. Participants over the age of 21 are welcome to bring adult beverages for personal consumption in the park.

AGE GROUPS & AWARDS
Custom trophies will be presented to the 1st place overall male and female finishers in both the 5K and 10K divisions. All participants will receive one of our brand new custom finisher medals we are having specially designed for this event. Top three male and female age group winners will be presented with decals at the awards ceremony to go on the back of your finisher medal. Participants will also be able to download and print custom finisher certificates showing their individual race stats and rankings. Finish line photos will also be available on the results page after the race.

14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and older.

PARKING

If you arrive before 9am there will be no charge to enter the park. There is plenty of parking at the Trailside Lodge adjacent to the finish line. The Humphry Nature Center can be easily searched on Google Maps and there are also signs to that location inside the park. Trailside Lodge is located in the same parking lot as Humphrey Nature Center.

CANCELLATION POLICY
There will be no refunds. In the event of foul weather, public safety concerns, or for any other reason deemed necessary by race organizers (ex: state of emergency, Covid restrictions, etc), we reserve the right to postpone/reschedule the event at our discretion or offer a 100% virtual alternative if necessary.

TIMING & FINISH LINE SERVICES
Gun start/chip finish timing services using industry leading Jaguar Electronic RFID timing will be provided by Race Management Solutions. Results are updated throughout the race in real time and can be accessed at any time after crossing the finish line using any one of the following options:
